The Watchers of Autumn Hill
2007Tucked deep in the heart of a rolling valley, three haystacks stand like ancient guardians in a hand-built wooden corral. Around them, the world glows in the warm, golden hush of early autumn—trees aflame with amber and rust, meadows softened under the low-angled light of the setting sun. An old, weathered barn leans gently downhill, as if listening to the stories the wind carries across the hills. It has stood here for generations, sheltering tools and secrets, echoing with the voices of those who once worked the land. This is a place untouched by haste, where time is not measured in minutes, but in seasons and songs. You can almost hear the faint rustle of dry grass, the creak of the old barn door, and the whisper of someone who once loved this place enough to leave a piece of their soul behind.
